South African Dark Grey granite is polished throughout to bring out its rich, even tone. Design A is a flat tablet with a large cross and an integrated flower container, leaving a clear area for the inscription.
The tablet can be laid flush with the ground in a churchyard or fixed on a foundation above ground in a cemetery, subject to local regulations. Churchyards normally require a honed rather than polished finish.
